Four tiny decisions teach the whole rhythm: promise a number, follow the lead, respect trump, and make the Joker work for your bid.

02What is Joker

Jokeri (ჯოკერი) is Georgia's most popular card game — a partnership-free, four-player battle of nerve played to the last trick.

Exact-bid trick-taking. Played with a 36-card deck where two Jokers replace 6♠ and 6♣. Before every deal you bid the exact number of tricks you intend to take — no more, no less. Hit your number and you score; miss it either way and it costs you. The tension is in the precision.

Hooks and jokers. The hook stops the dealer's final bid from making the table's total equal the number of tricks available — so somebody always ends up wrong. Jokers are wild power cards: play one to take, demand a suit, or underplay and duck a trick you never wanted.

03The Pulka

A full match is one pulka — 24 deals in a fixed arc. It climbs, holds at nines, descends, then closes with four deals played blind: you bid before you ever see your hand.

Ascending · 8 deals
1234 5678
Hand size grows 1 → 8.
Nines · 4 deals
9999
Full 9-card hands, one per player.
Descending · 8 deals
8765 4321
Hand size shrinks 8 → 1.
Blind nines · 4 deals
9999
Bid blind, before the deal is seen.

04Scoring

Every deal you either land your bid or you don't. Zero has its own rules, sweeping the whole deal is the crown jewel — and bidding tricks you then fail to take is the one way to go backwards.

SituationResultPoints
Bid 0, took 0Clean pass+50
Bid 0, took MBroke your zeroM × 10
Bid N, took exactly NMade your bidN × 50 + 50
Bid every trick, took them allSwept the dealcards × 100
Bid N, missedOver or undertook × 10 only
Bid 1+, took noneKhishti−200 (−500 optional)

The sweep is the same rule at every size — nine of nine pays 900, eight of eight in an eight-card deal pays 800. Khishti (ხიშტი, “bayonet”) is the only negative score on the sheet.

05On the Flipper

The emulator above is the real thing: flipper/gj_engine.c and gj_ai.c compiled straight to WebAssembly, driven on the same 64×128 vertical screen and five-button pad you get on the device.

  • Full pulka — all 24 deals against three heuristic bots that bid, hook and hoard jokers.
  • Blind bidding enforced by the UI — the blind-nine hands stay hidden until every bid is locked.
  • Save & resume — quit mid-pulka; the browser keeps the exact standings for next time.
  • 1-bit card table — status bar, four trick slots and a nine-card hand strip, all legible on the LCD.

06Get it

Prefer the real device? The same code ships as a single .fap application, built for both SDK channels by CI. Sideload it and play — no companion app, no network.

Step 1

Grab the FAP

Take jokeri-release.fap for official stable firmware, or the -dev asset for dev/RC. CI rebuilds both channels on every push.

Step 2

Sideload

Drop the .fap onto apps/Games with qFlipper and launch it from Apps → Games on the device.

Step 3

Read the source

All of it, at georgegach/Flipper.Jokeri — GPLv3, same C as the emulator above.
